EVALUATION

Formative Evaluation (Internal Continuous assessment) and Summative Evaluation (End Semester Examination) are in the ratio of 60:40 for theory courses and 75:25 for lab courses. Both formative and summative assessments are required for a student to complete a course.
Formative Evaluation :
Formative Evaluation may be on the basis of Tests, Assignments , Quizes, Short tests, On-the-spot-study reports, Field trip reports, Seminars, Term papers and Practicals. Tests are conducted in a centralized period.

Summative Evaluation :
. To appear for summative exams, a student must have completed all the formative requirements.
A For the UG students, a minimum of 30% in summative exam and a minimum of 40% in the aggregate of formative and summative marks are required for a pass in each subject.
For post graduate students, the passing minimum is 50% on the aggregate for each course and 45% minimum in the Summative Examination.
