Highlights of the French Programme:
• Study of extracts from French Poetry, Drama, Novel and Authentic Documents belonging to    various centuries
• Study of Grammar – its various components – Parts of speech, Conjugation of verbs, Articles,    Framing Sentences
• Training in composition writing, letter writing and poetry writing
• Study of spoken French in the basic level

Electives / Offered Under CBCS:
A Basic level course in French – offered to the II and III year students of the under graduate programme.

Emphasis is laid on spoken French.

Audio - visual methods are followed to impart effective learning

• On the spot studies – to M.K.U College for French Cuisine
• Field trips – to Pondicherry
• Visits to L’Alliance Fransaise, Madurai, Pondicherry

Club Activities:
1. To conduct Annual inter – collegiate cultural festivals
2. To take part in Inter – Collegiate cultural festivals organized by other institutions
3. To conduct Quiz programmes, Workshops on beauty tips, Video & C.D shows on French Culture and learning of French through games.
